PEPPER'S SENIOR DOG SANCTUARY PROVIDES SENIOR DOGS WITH A COMPASSIONATE, FOREVER HOME, VETERINARIAN SUPERVISED SANCTUARY. THEIR GOAL IS TO BE A PREMIER DOG RETIREMENT COMMUNITY FOR CANINES WHO NEED IT MOST. THE NEW SANCTUARY WILL PROVIDE SMALL GROUP AND ONE-ON-ONE CARE; ENORMOUS SPACE TO PLAY, LOUNGE AND SLEEP KIDDIE-POOL-SIDE, INDIVIDUAL BEDROOM SUITES DESIGNED BY ANTONIO BALLATORE FROM ANIMAL CRIBS; PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS, AND DEDICATED PHYICAL THERAPY AND MEDICAL CARE.PEPPER'S WILL OFFICIALLY OPEN THEIR FULL SCALE SANCTUARY AFTER CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION IN 2023. IN 2021, PEPPER'S WELCOMED SOME DOGS WHO CURRENTLY LIVE WITH THEIR LEADERSHIP TEAM AND AT THE SANCTUARY. PEPPER'S IS CONTINUING FUNDRAISING EFFORTS TO RAISE $5 MILLION TO COMPLETE THEIR CAPITAL CAMPAIGN.PEPPER'S ONLY ACCEPTS DOGS FROM SHELTERS AND RESCUES TO HELP EASE THE BURDEN OF OVERCROWDING AT SHELTERS.

IN 2022, PEPPER'S SENIOR DOG SANCTUARY ("PEPPERS") CONTINUED CONSTRUCTION WORK ON THE NEW FULL-SCALE SANCTUARY FOR SENIOR AND SPECIAL NEEDS DOGS. PEPPERS STARTED CAPITAL CAMPAIGING TO RAISE $5 MILLION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SANCTUARY. THEY HELD A GALA AND AUCTION AT THE END OF 2022 AS PART OF THIS CAMPAIGN.


IN 2022, PEPPER'S CONTINUED TO ENSURE COMPASSIONATE EXPERT CARE AND COMFORT TO SENIOR AND SPEICAL NEEDS DOGS. IN 2022 THEY HOUSED 21 DOGS.


DURING 2022, PEPPER'S MAINTAINED ITS 501(C)(3) PUBLIC ORGANIZATION STATUS BY TIMELY FILING THEIR 2021 FORM 990. THEY CONTINUED TO DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS WITH NEARBY SHELTERS. PEPPER'S WORKED TO ESTABLISH TIES WITH THE COMMUNITY TO HELP IN THE SUPPORT AND CARE OF SENIOR AND SPECIAL NEEDS DOGS. PEPPER'S ALSO CONTINUED WORK TO INTEGRATE ITSELF MORE INTO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH DIRECT OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND EVENTS.
