THE PORCHLIGHT FAMILY JUSTICE CENTER (FJC) PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE LEGAL, EMOTIONAL AND CRITICAL SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, STALKING, CHILD ABUSE, AT-RISK INDIVIDUAL ABUSE, ELDER ABUSE, AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING. THE CENTER IS CENTRALLY LOCATED IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, COLORADO. THE FJC IS A SAFE, WARM, AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT THAT PROVIDES ONE-STOP SERVICES AND SUPPORT. KEY LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, LAW ENFORCEMENT, COMMUNITY, SOCIAL AND LEGAL SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICES ARE LOCATED ON-SITE AT THE FJC TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS TO GET HELP. DURING 2020 SIGNIFICANT EFFORT, TIME AND RESOURCES WERE SPENT PREPARING THE PHYSICAL SPACE FOR OPENING IN EARLY 2021. DESPITE NOT HAVING THE ACTUAL FACILTY AVAILABLE TO SERVE PEOPLE, 224 GUESTS WERE SERVED DURING 2020, HELPING THEM TO CONNECT WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS.
