IT ACHIEVES THIS MISSION BY MAKING GRANTS TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT OFFER PROVEN PROGRAMS FOR EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS THAT INCREASE THE NUMBER OF TEXAS GIRLS GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND ENTERING COLLEGE-LEVEL DEGREE PROGRAMS IN STEM. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS RANGING FROM EQUITY TRAINING AND STEM CAREER WORKSHOPS FOR EDUCATORS TO PHYSICS CAMPS FOR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS. DURING THE CURRENT YEAR, 14 GRANTS WERE PROVIDED TO 12 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. THIS INCLUDED SUPPORT OF STEM CAMPS TO HELP PREP GIRLS FOR STEM COURSES, TO DELVIER STEM GENDER EQUITY TRAINING TO EDUCATORS, FUNDING FOR PREFLIGHT AVIATION CAMPS, WOMEN IN AVIATION TO INTRODUCT GIRLS TO AVIATION RELATED STEM CAREERS, AND TO DELIVER ADADEMIC ENRICHMENT FOR FEMALE STUDENTS IN 6 DALLAS SCHOOLS, AND SEVERAL OTHER STEM PROGRAMS FOR GIRLS.
