DURING 2023, FOUNDATION PRESIDENT DORIAN GREENOW AND VICE-PRESIDENT GEMMA KOCHIS, ATTENDED NUMEROUS MEDICAL CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS GLOBALLY TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND NURTURE RELATIONSHIPS. THEY MADE NUMEROUS CONNECTIONS WITH PRACTITIONERS, RESEARCHERS, SCIENTISTS, AS WELL AS POTENTIAL DONORS. A $25,000 DONATION FROM A COMMUNITY FOUNDATION WAS SECURED THROUGH THESE EFFORTS, AND TWO BENEFACTORS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED. THEY HAVE VERBALLY PLEDGED OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS TO BE FUNDED OVER TIME TO SUPPORT LONG TERM EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES AND THE HIRING OF AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, THE FOUNDATION'S FIRST EMPLOYEE. AFFILIATE RELATIONSHIPS WERE MAINTAINED TO GARNER ONGOING REVENUE AND WILL BE STRENGTHENED IN 2024 AND BEYOND. NO FOUNDATION GRANTS WERE MADE IN 2023, TO KEEP OUTLAY AT A MINIMUM AND PREPARE FOR GROWTH.
