MADE CONTRIBUTIONS TO OTHER TAX EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS AND CHARITIES THAT MINISTER TO THOSE IN NEED WITHIN THE UNION COUNTY COMMUNITY.
PROVIDED TEMP HOUSING TO THE HOMELESS; HELPED THOSE IN A CRISIS SITUATION REGARDING FOOD, RENT, UTILITIES AND TRANSPORTATIONASSISTED THOSE DETERMINED NEEDY IN MEETING EDUCATIONAL AND HEALTH CARE COSTS. PAID FOR NEEDED BASIC REPAIRS TO HOMES OF THOSE DETERMINED TO BE IN CRITICAL CARE SITUATIONS.
PARTNERED WITH STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA IN A FAITHWORKS GRANT TO PROVIDE CRISIS INTERVENTION/COUNSELING REGARDING ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG AND FAMILY PROBLEMS WITH THE PRIMARY EMPHASIS BEING ON OPIOID USAGE. COMBINED COUNSELING WITH EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY RESOURCE FOR IDENTIFYING TRIGGERS FOR ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSES AND THEN PROVIDING COUNSELING/EDUCATION TO THOSE TARGETED GROUPS TO HELP THEM OVERCOME THE DEPENDENCY ISSUES; MADE REFERRALS TO REHAB FACILITIES AND PROVIDED AID TO FAMILIES COPING WITH A LOVED ONES DEPENDENCY CRISIS. THROUGH THE EFFORTS OF THE C4 MINISTRY GROUP, A HERETOFORE, UNTAPPED RESOURCE (THE FAITH BASED COMMUNITY)NOW HAS A DIRECT INPUT INTO CHANGING THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES BY MEETING THEM AT THE SPECIFIC POINT OF THEIR NEED WHETHER IT BE PROVIDING FOOD, TRANSPORTATION, UTILITY HELP,TEMPORARY HOUSING FOR THE HOMELESS, EDUCATION ASSISTANCE, ETC.
