THE WAY HOME - MT CREATES A GATEWAY FOR SUSTAINABLE HOUSING, OLD FASHIONAED HOSPITALITY, AND A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE THROUGH FAITH BASED MINISTRY TO BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR INDIVIDUALS, FAMILES, AND THE COMMUNITY.

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING- WAY HOME MT (WHMT) OFFERS TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM FOR VARIOUS PERSONS, ASSISTING THEM IN TRANSITIONING TO INDEPENDENT LIVING IN SOCIETY. INDIVIDUALS THAT PARTICIPATE IN THIS HOUSING PROGRAM MUST INTERVIEW WITH BACKGROUND CHECK AND AGREE TO PROGRAM/HOUSE RULES AND OFFER PERSONAL PREFERENCES. WHMT WILL OFFER JOB TRAININGS, LIFE COACHING SESSIONS, AND BIBLE STUDIES FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM. OUTREACH EVENTS IN THE COMMUNITY WILL BE OFFERED TO RESIDENTS. WHMT WILL PROVIDE ROOM AND BOARD, BASIC CLOTHING AND TOILETRIES, AND MEALS. INDIVIDUALS MAY LIVE IN THE TRANSITIONAL HOME FOR A MAXIMUM OF TWO YEARS. IN ORDER TO STAY IN THE PROGRAM, RESIDENTS MUST (1) SEEK FULL TIME EMLOYMENT AND/OR SCHOOL (2) COMPLETE ASSIGNED CHORES (3) PARTICIPATE IN WEEEKLY HOUSE MEETINGS, SEMINARS AND BIBLE STUDIES & (4) GROW THROUGH THEIR INDIVUALIZED GROWTH PLAN. RESIDENTS WILL BE PERMITTED TO LIVE IN THIS HOUSING PROGRAM FREE OF CHARGE UNTIL THEY BEGIN EARNING A WAGE FROM GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT. RESIDENTS WILL SAVE THE MAJOORITY OF THEIR INCOME , THEN PAY A PERCENTAGE OF THEIR EARNINGS TO WHMT FOR SUPPORT.
BENEVOLENCE PROGRAM- THW WAY HOME MT ( WHMT ) HAS A BENVOLENCE PROGRAM TO ASSIST PERSONS TRUELY IN NEED. ACCORDING TO TITLE 26 CF 1.170A-4A(D) DEFINES A TRULY IN NEED PERSON AS: A PERSON WHO LACKS THE NECESSITIES OF LIFE, INVOLVING PHYSICAL, MENTAL, OR EMOTIONAL WELL BEING, AS A RESULT OF POVERTY OR TEMPORIARY DISTRESS. WHMT WILL REFRAIN FROM THE GIVING OF BENEVOLENCE TO ANY PERSONS THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED DISQUALIFIED, AS DEFINED BY IRC SECTION 4958(F)(1).
