LEASES ARE LESS THAN MARKET-RATE AND SHORT-TERM AND ONLY OFFERED TO OUR EXISTING CLIENTS WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY A HOME FIRE. WE ALSO MAINTAIN A WAITLIST OF CLIENTS INTERESTED IN THE EMERGENCY HOUSING PROGRAM SO THAT THE PROCESS IS FAIR AND EQUITABLE. OUR FRONT PORCH PROVIDED OUTREACH SCREENING AND REFERRALS FOR OVER 350 PEOPLE RECOVERING FROM HOUSE FIRES AND OVER 410 ONE-ON-ONE SERVICES, HELPING CLIENTS LOCATE RESOURCES, FIND NEW HOUSING, AND RECOVER FROM THEIR TRAUMA. THE EMERGENCY HOUSING PROGRAM SERVED 9 HOUSEHOLDS, PROVIDING THEM WITH A SAFE AND AFFORDABLE TEMPORARY HOME. THE NEED FOR HOUSING OUTWEIGHS CAPACITY, AND 103 HOUSEHOLDS WERE PLACED ON OFPS WAITLIST, REINFORCING THE NEED FOR MORE TEMPORARY HOUSING. WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH RED CROSS AND DENVER HUMAN SERVICES, OUR FRONT PORCH RESPONDED TO FIVE LARGE APARTMENT FIRES.
