RIGHT HAND FOUNDATION, INC. ("RHF") IS BORN OUT OF VISION TO HELP REDUCE HOMELESSNESS AMONG SINGLE MOTHERS AND CHILDREN IN THE SOUTHSIDE COMMUNITY OF ATLANTA. IT AIMS TO MEET THE IMMEDIATE, PRESSING NEEDS OF HOMELESS MOTHERS, THEIR CHILDREN AND OTHER HOMELESS CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS BY PROVIDING THEM WITH FOOD, SHELTER (THROUGH TRANSITIONAL HOUSING) AND CLOTHING TO BRING THEM OFF THE STREET AND INTO A SAFE PLACE WHERE THEY CAN RECEIVE THE SUPPORT, EDUCATION, JOB TRAINING AND ACCESS TO SOCIAL PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS THE CIRCUMSTANCES (INCLUDING ADDICTIONS, PROSTITUTION AND JOBLESSNESS) THAT HAVE DRIVEN AND KEPT THEM ON THE STREET. THE GOAL IS TO SET A NEW COURSE FOR THE LIVES OF PARTICIPANTS IN RHF'S PROGRAMS SO THAT THEIR LIVES ARE STABILIZED AND A PATH FORWARD TOSELF-SUFFICIENCY IS ESTABLISHED.
