COPAL, A MINNESOTA STATEWIDE ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN JANUARY 2018 SEEKS TO BUILD LATINX POLITICAL POWER BY EXPANDING THE ELECTORATE, STRENGTHENING LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURES, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. SINCE ITS ESTABLISHMENT, THE ORGANIZATION HAS RAPIDLY EXPANDED ITS ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY, ALONG WITH AMPLIFYING ITS REACH AND IMPACT. WITH A GROWING COMMUNITY OF MEMBER-LEADERS THROUGH COPAL'S RELATIONAL ORGANIZING, LATINXS AS A COMMUNITY ARE PROGRESSIVELY BUILDING A STRONGER FOUNDATION TO LEVERAGE ITS COLLECTIVE POLITICAL POWER TO INFLUENCE OFFICIALS AND ELECTIONS. IN THE 2020 ELECTION CYCLE, COPAL SUCCESSFULLY MOBILIZED OVER 18,000 LATINXS TO VOTE. THIS YEAR WITH A GROWING DATABASE OF OVER 22,000 REGISTERED VOTERS, COPAL AIMS TO SUPPORT CANDIDATES EMBRACING COPAL'S POLITICAL AGENDA.
