IS TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF CLINICAL CARE TO THE PATIENTS OF NORTH AND NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA AND SURROUNDING AREAS, AND TO SUPPORT THE CLINICAL, ADMINISTRATIVE, AND CORPORATE ACTIVITIES OF TEMPLE UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYSTEM WHILE CONTINUING TO SUPPORT THE ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH MISSION OF TEMPLE UNIVERSITY'S LEWIS KATZ SCHOOL OF MEDICINE.

TEMPLE FACULTY PRACTICE PLAN, INC. (TFPP) IS A NETWORK OF PRIMARY CARE AND SPECIALTY ACADEMIC PHYSICIANS WHO ARE DUALLY EMPLOYED BY TFPP AND THE LEWIS KATZ SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, WHICH IS PART OF TEMPLE UNIVERSITY. TFPP OFFERS PRIMARY CARE SERVICES AS WELL AS SPECIALTY SERVICES TO PATIENTS IN NORTH AND NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA AND SURROUNDING AREAS, MANY OF WHICH ARE LOCATED IN AREAS DESIGNATED BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AS MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED AREAS / POPULATIONS FOR MEDICAL CARE PROFESSIONALS. TFPP EMPLOYS OR OTHERWISE CONTRACTS WITH APPROXIMATELY 600 PHYSICIANS TO PROVIDE HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO ITS PATIENTS, INCLUDING BOTH INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT SERVICES OF THE AFFILIATED HOSPITALS OF TEMPLE UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYSTEM (TUHS).
