ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A CALIFORNIA CHARTER SCHOOL. WE ENCOURAGE REACH FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO ATTEND BOARD MEETINGS AS A WAY OF STAYING CONNECTED TO THE BIGGER PICTURE DECISIONS THAT ARE MADE AT THIS LEVEL OF THE ORGANIZATION.

THE REACH EDUCATION FOUNDATION (REF) SERVES THE STUDENTS ENROLLED AT REACH CHARTER SCHOOL, WHICH TOTALED 83 AT THE END OF FISCAL YEAR 2022. REFS EFFORTS ARE INTENDED TO PROVIDE FISCAL SUPPORT OF REACH CHARTER SCHOOLS PROGRAMS, OPERATIONS, FACULTY, STAFF, AND STUDENT FAMILY POPULATION. REF FOCUSES ON AN ANNUAL PARENT PLEDGE PROGRAM COMPLIMENTED BY SEVERAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS. THE EVENTS CARRY OUT THE DUAL PURPOSE OF RAISING FUNDS FOR THE SCHOOL THAT REF SERVES, AS WELL AS FOSTERING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND CONNECTION, WHICH DIRECTLY ENHANCES THE FUNDRAISING EFFORTS. THE PRIMARY FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS DURING FY 2021-2022 WERE THE PLEDGE PROGRAM, WHICH RAISED $31,810, AND A WALK-A-THON, WHICH RAISED $9,898.52. OTHER MISCELLANEOUS EVENTS INCLUDED A DINE & DONATE THAT RAISED $400, AND AN ONLINE BOOK FAIR THAT RAISED $99.55.
