THE ORGANIZATION SUCCESSFULLY STAFFED 2 SCHOOL TRAININGS FOR UP-AND-COMING LEADERS ACROSS THE REGION. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PARTICIPATING IN THE WASHINGTON COUNTY PEOPLE'S BUDGET COALITION, AND ADVOCATED FOR FUNDING FOR ESSENTIAL SERVICES. THE WASHINGTON COUNTY IGNITE DIRECTOR PROVIDED SEVERAL REDISTRICTING TRAININGS AND RECRUITED RESIDENTS TO TESTIFY TO KEEP THEIR COMMUNITIES WHOLE DURING THE LEGISLATIVE REDISTRICTING PROCESS. WASHINGTON COUNTY IGNITE ALSO WORKED TO UPLIFT ABOUT A DOZEN CANDIDATES AND THEIR VALUES TO MAKE WASHINGTON COUNTY MORE INCLUSIVE IN 2021. WE DID THIS BY HELPING TO GET THEIR MESSAGE OUT TO VOTERS BY PHONE BANKING AND PROVIDING ESSENTIAL COMMUNICATIONS ONLINE. WE ALSO PROVIDED SOME CONSULTING SERVICES AND GUIDED CANDIDATES ON HOW TO BUILD THEIR CAMPAIGNS.
