DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR NCL JENKS CHAPTER HAD 280 MEMBERS AND THEY PROVIDED OVER 3,300 HOURS OF VOLUNTEER SERVICES TO JENKS AREA COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND CIVIC GROUPS. TICKTOCKERS IN GRADES 7-12, PARTICIPATE IN A SIX YEAR CORE PROGRAM THAT HELPS THEM TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND BECOME LIFE-LONG PHILANTHROPISTS. THE CURRICULUM FOCUSES ON COMMUNITY SERVICE AND CULTIVATES COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS, VALUES AND TRADITIONS. IT PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCES WHICH INCLUDES PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE, PROBLEM SOLVING, TEAM BUILDING, ETIQUETTE AND INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS AMONG OTHER TOPICS.
