IN 2021, THE CLEAN ENERGY TRANSITION INSTITUTE ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING: 1-DEVELOPED THE ANALYSIS TO GUIDE CREATION OF THE PROGRAMS, POLICIES, AND MARKET TRANSFORMATION THAT WILL SCALE NET ZERO EMISSIONS BUILDINGS BY 2050 WITH OPERATION 2030: SCALING BUILDING DECARBONIZATION IN WASHINGTON STATE; 2-ANALYZED WASHINGTON STATES UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM INDUSTRIAL EMISSIONS FOR PULP AND PAPER; REFINERIES; WOOD PRODUCTS; FOOD PRODUCTION CHEMICALS; CEMENT; AEROSPACE MANUFACTURING; AND GLASS AND OUTLINED THEIR DECARBONIZATION STRATEGIES, AS WELL AS HOW TO MEASURE AND ACCOUNT FOR THE EMISSIONS; 3-MODELED DIFFERENT SCENARIOS TO HELP STAKEHOLDERS DEVELOP A CLEAN ENERGY STANDARD FOR OREGON IN COLLABORATION WITH RENEWABLE NORTHWEST, GRIDLAB, AND EVOLVED ENERGY RESEARCH; AND 4-DRAFTED A NORTHWEST CLEAN ENERGY ATLAS TO ENABLE CITIZENS AND POLICYMAKERS TO UNDERSTAND DECARBONIZATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE NORTHWEST ENERGY LANDSCAPE.
