THE CORPORATION IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF ASSISTING ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA WITH IMPLEMENTING AND OVERSEEING THE COUNTY'S PERFORMANCE BASED REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM FOR CHARITABLE, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES AND PROGRAMS TO LOW-INCOME AND NEEDY INDIVIDUALS.

THE ALAMEDA PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO FUND INNOVATIVE AND RESTORATIVE SOLUTIONS TO STOP THE CYCLE OF CRIME, INCARCERATION, UNEMPLOYMENT, AND RECIDIVISM FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO COMMIT LOW-LEVEL FELONIES BY PAIRING THESE INDIVIDUALS WITH TRAINED COACHES WITH SIMILAR CULTURAL, LINGUISTIC, AND SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS AND DEVELOPING A CASE MANAGED PLAN FOR COMMUNITY RE-ENTRY. THE ALAMEDA PROJECT WILL DELIVER EIGHTEEN MONTHS OF CONSISTENT OUTREACH AND COACHING, NAVIGATION SUPPORT, AND EVIDENCE-BASED THERAPIES, INTRINSIC MOTIVATION, AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS TREATMENTS WITH THE GOAL OF MEANINGFULLY IMPROVING RECIDIVISM (RE-ARREST) OUTCOMES, AMONG OTHERS. THE ALAMEDA PROJECT AIMS TO SERVE APPROXIMATELY 175 PARTICIPANTS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 AND 34 THROUGHOUT ALAMEDA COUNTY THROUGH THE PILOT.
