TO STRENGTHEN THE BONDS BETWEEN THE CLEVELAND DIVISION OF POLICE AND THE CITIZENS IT SERVES, WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE OUR CITY SAFER TO ALL. WORKING PROACTIVELY TO SUPPORT AND INVEST IN PROGRAMS, COMMUNITY POLICING INITIATIVES AND ENGAGEMENT.

COMMUNITY POLICING & ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES (CPI): THE CLEVELAND POLICE FOUNDATION (CPF) WORKS TO ASSIST THE CLEVELAND DIVISION OF POLICE IN FORGING STRONGER BONDS WITH THE COMMUNITY IT SERVES. TO ACCOMPLISH THAT, THE CPF WORKS PROACTIVELY TO SUPPORT AND INVEST IN PROGRAMS, PROJECTS, AND EVENTS THAT FOSTER POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN CITIZENS AND POLICE OFFICERS, HELPING OFFICERS TO BETTER PERFORM THEIR DUTIES.

INTERNAL RELATIONS AND MORALE DEVELOPMENT (IRMD) PROGRAM: THE CPF PROVIDES SUPPORT TO MEMBERS OF THE CLEVELAND DIVISION OF POLICE AND THEIR FAMILIES, PROVIDES SUPPORT TO FAMILIES AND COLLEAGUES OF OFFICERS WHO DIE IN THE LINE OF DUTY, AND INVESTS IN TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO CONTINUALLY IMPROVE LAW ENFORCEMENT PERFORMANCE AND PUBLIC SAFETY.
