CHATHAM CARES, INC. LEASES THE FACILITY TO A DIVISION OF THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE DANVILLE AREA. THE BUILDING SERVES AS MEETING SPACE FOR THE FOLLOWING: AN AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM DURING THE ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR, AN EXTENDED SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM SERVING AT RISK YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY, AND PROVIDING LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION AND MENTORING FOR STUDENTS AGES 5 TO 18. ALSO, THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS THE COMMUNITY A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING: CONCERTS, FITNESS AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS, COMPUTER SKILLS CLASSES, AND LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS.
