ADVOCACY - ONE ON ONE APPOINTMENTS WITH PARENTS TO DISCUSS THE EDUCATION ISSUES CONCERNING THEIR CHILD/YOUTH. REPRESENT STUDENTS BY INFORMING SCHOOLS, JUDGES AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS ABOUT THE EDUCATION RIGHTS OF AN INDIVIDUAL STUDENT AND ADVOCATE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN/YOUTH AT INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PROGRAM (IEP) MEETINGS. FILE COMPLIANCE COMPLAINTS WITH CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION OR THE OFFICE OF CIVIL RIGHTS, REQUESTING AN ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING IF THE DESIRED RESULTS ARE NOT ACHIEVED.
