LEADERS OF TOMORROW AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM IS DEDICATED TO THE NEEDS OF LOW-INCOME, TITLE 1, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS BY IMPLEMENTING AN IN-DEPTH COMMON CORE ALIGNED CURRICULUM DIVIDED INTO TWO ENGAGING QUARTERLY UNITSLIFE SKILLS AND STEAM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS, AND MATHEMATICS). THESE UNITS ARE PROJECT-BASED WITH AN EMPHASIS ON INCREASING HEALTH KNOWLEDGE, SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING, SCIENCE EDUCATION, EQUITY, ART APPRECIATION, AND COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS.
