CENTER FOR COMMON GROUND WAS FOUNDED TO EDUCATE AND EMPOWER UNDER-REPRESENTED VOTERS IN VOTER SUPPRESSION STATES TO ENGAGE IN ELECTIONS AND ADVOCATE FOR THEIR RIGHT TO VOTE. TOGETHER WE CAN BUILD A DEMOCRACY THAT PRIORITIZES THE VOICES OF ALL PEOPLE.

CENTER FOR COMMON GROUND CONTACTED 14 MILLION VOTERS OF COLOR IN 2020 PROVIDING VOTER REGISTRATION PLEDGE TO VOTE EARLY VOTING AND ELECTION DAY VOTING LOCATIONS. OUR 44,000 VOLUNTEERS SENT 9.4 MILLION POSTCARDS MADE 1.7 MILLION PHONE CALLS AND SENT 2.9 MILLION TEXT MESSAGES. IN 2020 WE ALSO STARTED OUR STUDENTS FOR JUSTICE INTERN PROGRAM AND TRAINED 180 INTERNS IN USING SOCIAL MEDIA FOR CIVIC ENGAGEMENT.
