DURING 2021, PARTNERSHIP FOR A NEW AMERICAN ECONOMY ACTION FUND, INC. (PNAEAF) WORKED WITH PARTNERS INCLUDING MAYORS' OFFICES, CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE, AND OTHERS, AS WELL AS ENGAGED CONSULTANTS, TO ORGANIZE LEADERS IN STATES AROUND THE COUNTRY TO ADVOCATE FOR A BETTER IMMIGRATION SYSTEM; HELD DOZENS OF VIRTUAL STATE EVENTS IN WHICH LOCAL LEADERS DISCUSSED THE ECONOMIC BENEFITS OF IMMIGRATION REFORM; ENGAGED ECONOMISTS, LEGISLATIVE AIDES, AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS IN HELPING ELECTED OFFICIALS MEET THE CHALLENGES AROUND PROTECTING IMMIGRANT AND OTHER COMMUNITIES IN COVID; AND ENGAGED CITIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW POLICIES TO PROMOTE IMMIGRANT INTEGRATION.
