THE VETERANS ALLIANCE OF ORANGE COUNTY (VALOR) WILL EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT ISSUES FACING MILITARY VETERANS IN THE COMMUNITY, ADVOCATE FOR VETERANS RIGHTS, AND ENGAGE IN OTHER ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE THE INTERESTS OF VETERANS AND THEIR SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION INTO CIVILIAN LIFE. VALOR PLANS TO FOCUS ON INITIATIVES THAT WOULD CREATE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR VETERANS, INCLUDING SUPPORT FOR PROGRAMS THAT HELP VETERAN ENTREPRENEURS. HOMELESSNESS AND POSTTRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER ARE OTHER PRESSING ISSUES FOR VETERANS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, AND VALOR PLANS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THESE ISSUES.
