WE WERE ABLE TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF MENTAL ILLNESS AND IT'S AFFECTS BY: INSTRUCTING AT MARY HALL FREEDOM VILLAGE SERVING OVER 200 WOMEN WEEKLY CONDUCTED 30 COMMUNITY RESILIENCY MODEL MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS WORKSHOPS. SELF DISCOVERY P3 WAS FEATURED ON NUMEROUS TELEVISION AND RADIO SHOWS AS WELL AS IN A NAMI YOUTUBE DOCUMENTARY SERIES ENTITLED "SUICIDE & FAMILY TRAUMA: THE ROAD TO RECOVERY/THE VENESSA ABRAM STORY." SELF DISCOVERY P3 WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE TO FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS THROUGH OUR SHADOW PROGRAM. WE ALSO HOSTED NUMEROUS YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST-AID WORKSHOPS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COBB COLLABORATIVE TO FOSTER YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND REHABILITATION. WE MENTORED UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA STUDENTS THROUGH OUR FELLOWS PROGRAM ENCOURAGING PARTICIPATION IN OUR EVENTS AND BEING EXPOSED TO THE ROLE OF MENTAL WELLNESS IN SOCIETY. ONE HUNDRED FAMILIES OF VETERANS WERE PROVIDED WITH TURKEYS FOR THANKSGIVING AS PART OF OUR "RUDDY'S HEROES & SIDEKICKS- AND 500+ VETERANS AND VETERANS' FAMILIES WERE PROVIDED WITH MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING AND SERVICES. OVER 300 TOYS WERE COLLECTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TOYS FOR TOTS.
