REFUGEECONNECT'S MISSION IS TO CONNECT PEOPLE FORCED TO FLEE THEIR COUNTRY TO ESCAPE PERSECUTION OR WAR WITH RESOURCES TO REBUILD THEIR LIVES AS UNITED STATES CITIZENS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

COMMUNITY NAVIGATOR -- THIS PROGRAM HAS NAVIGATORS CREATE CONNECTIONS WITH FAMILIES, INTERVIEW FAMILIES TO ASSESS NEEDS, AND ASSIST IN REDUCING FEELINGS OF ISOLATION DURING COVID-19. BASED ON A FAMILY'S IDENTIFIED NEEDS, STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS RESEARCH RESOURCES A FAMILY CAN ACCESS AND CONNECT THEM TO SERVICES, WHICH ALSO INCLUDES ACADEMIC AND E-LEARNING SUPPORTS FOR CHILDREN ENROLLED IN SCHOOL.


OTHER PROGRAMS -- INCLUDING OUR NEW HEALTH NAVIGATOR PROGRAM, AN URBAN AGRICULTURE GRANT, MENTORSHIP AND VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS, AND PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO REFUGEE STUDENTS.


REFUGEE SCHOOL IMPACT RSI -- THIS PROGRAM ASSISTED NEWLY ARRIVED SCHOOL-AGE REFUGEE CHILDREN IN OHIO TO IMPROVE THEIR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT IN SCHOOL.
