SHERIFFS FOR TRUSTING COMMUNITIES WILL WORK WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO: BUILD A COLLECTIVE VISION FOR AN ALTERNATIVE ROLE OF THE SHERIFF. MAKE SURE EVERY PERSON IN THE COUNTRY KNOWS WHERE THEIR SHERIFF STANDS; ELECT A WAVE OF SHERIFFS WHO SHARE THAT VISION; HOLD NEW SHERIFFS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR PROMISES AND CHALLENGE LONG TIME SHERIFFS TO FOLLOW THEIR LEAD.
