IN 2021, MEWE INTL COLLABORATED WITH LOCAL IMPLEMENTING PARTNERS IN TURKEY AND JORDAN ON #MEWE SYRIA,REACHING OVER 1000 SYRIAN REFUGEES TO ADVANCE THEIR PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING, LEADERSHIP AND REPRESENTATION TOWARD COMMUNITY OWNERSHIP OF THE ETHOLOGY AND PROGRAMMING. THIS GRANT PROVIDED COLLABORATIVE SUPPORT WITH OTHER GRANTS TO SUPPORT 3 STORYTELLING-PROJECTS CREATED BY THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING A PUBLISHED BOOK, A POD CAST, AND DOC-SERIES. IT ALSO CO-SUPPORTS THE SUPPORT OF PROGRAM MANAGERS IN TURKEY AND JORDAN OF LOCAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS.DATA FOR JORDAN SHOWED 80% IMPROVEMENT IN PARTICIPANTS' PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND IN TURKEY SHOWED AN IMPROVEMENT IN THE LEVEL OF PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING(COMMUNICATION SKILLS,EMOTIONAL REGULATIONS,LEADERSHIP,RESILIENCE,GOAL-SETTING) BY ALMOST 69% BY PARTICIPANTS.#MEWE SYRIA CONTINUES IN 2022 FURTHERING THE POSITIVE IMPACTS ON COMMUNITIES WELLBEING AND LEADERSHIP TOWARDS A COMMUNITY OWNERSHIP MODEL AND DESIGN OF INTEGRATION THROUGH 6 COMMUNITY LED AND DESIGNED INNOVATIONS AND EXPANDED REACH INTO NEW REGIONS OF THE COUNTRIES.

USINH COMMUNICATION SKILL BUILDING TOOLS TO INCREASE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING, LEADERSHIP, AND REPRESENTATION OVER 3 MONTHS OF CO-CREATION IN PROGRAM DESIGN AND EVALUATIONS WITH COMMUNITIES,#MEWE INTL IMPLEMENTED +30 HOURS OF DIRECT PROGRAMMING SERVING 308 PEOPLE.DATA SHOWED 100% COMMUNICATION SKILLS IMPROVEMENT,100% USE OF TOOLS FOR MENTAL HEALTH AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING IN COMMUNITY AND A 90%+/- AGREEMENT THAT THE INDIVIDUALS FEEL THEY CAN ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES.
IN 2021, #MEWE INTL WORKED WITH 3 LOCAL IMPLEMENTING PARTNERS ON #MEWE COLORADO IN E. COLFAX DENVER, COLORADO SERVING REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES SEVERELY IMPACTED BY INEQUALITY AND VIOLENCE. THEY IMPLEMENTED COMMUNICATION SKILL-BUILDING TOOLS TO INCREASE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLBEING,LEADERSHIP, AND REPRESENTATION TO YOUTH AND FAMILIES.183 PEOPLE WERE REACHED DIRECTLY FOR A MINIMUM OF 8 HOURS OF PROGRAMMING PER MONTH, 2 YOUTH LED THEATER PERFORMANCES,2 COMMUNITY DESIGN BILLBOARD EXPRESSING MESSAGES FOR THEIR COMMUNITY TO RECEIVE USING THEIR OWN VOICES, AND 2 MONTHS OF INTENSIVE CREATIVE-STORYTELLING DESIGNS WITH SOCIAL JUSTICE. DATA SHOWED OVER 90% OF YOUTH SHOWED THE SESSIONS ADVANCED THEIR COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS, AND PROVIDED THEM WITH TOOLS TO SUPPORT THEIR MENTAL HEALTH AND EMOTIONAL WELLBEING.PROGRAM HAS CONTINUED THROUGH 2022.
