CONTINUE CONSTRUCTION TO COMPLETE HARRISBURG'S FIRST DONATION-BASED RESTAURANT AND COMMUNITY SPACE. THE DONATION-BASED RESTAURANT, UPON COMPLETION, WILL PROVIDE PATRONS WITH A SENSE OF CONNECTION AND COMFORT, ACCESS TO COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM SERVICES AND WILL ALSO ADDRESS POVERTY AND FOOD INSECURITY.
ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM THROUGH THE INITIATION OF COMMUNITY OUTREACH, PUBLIC AWARENESS, AND TRAINING WITHIN HARRISBURG. WORKING WITH MULTIPLE ENTITIES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY, HEARTSHINE HAS BUILT A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH WHICH EMPHASIZES THE IMPORTANCE OF TRAUMA-INFORMED PRACTICES TO PREPARE COLLABORATIVE PRACTICES TO IMPROVE CONNECTION, BUILD RESILIENCE AND BECOME BETTER STEWARDS OF THE COMMUNITY.
