TEACHERS FACILITATE AND PRESENT CHILDREN WITH CHALLENGING QUESTIONS AND PROBLEMS THAT ENCOURAGE THEM TO THINK "OUTSIDE OF BOX" THROUGH A HANDS-ON PROJECT METHOD. BY ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN PROJECTS GIVEN, STUDENTS ENCOUNTER CENTRAL CONCEPTS AND PRINCIPLES ABOUT THE SUBJECTS THEY ARE STUDYING, WHICH DEVELOP VALUABLE RESEARCH, PROBLEM SOLVING, DECISION-MAKING AND INVESTIGATE SKILLS. PROJECT-BASED LEARNING ALLOWS THE STUDENTS TO LEARN FROM THEIR EXPERIENCES, AND THEN TO APPLY WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED TO THE WORLD AROUND THEM. DURING THE JUNE 30, 2022 YEAR END, PLACER CHARTER ACADEMY SERVED APPROXIMATELY 261 STUDENTS AND HAD 175 INSTRUCTION DAYS.
