Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
KNOWING THAT THE SITUATION WITH THE PANDEMIC WAS QUITE FLUID, WE BEGAN TENTATIVE PREPARATIONS FOR POSSIBLE REOPENING IN THE SUMMER OF 2021. WE ADVERTISED TO THE POTENTIAL PARTICIPANTS, DRAFTED FACULTY CONTRACTS, AND NEGOTIATED A RENTAL CONTRACT WITH LINFIELD UNIVERSITY. HOWEVER, BY APRIL IT BECAME OBVIOUS THAT HOLDING AN IN-PERSON FESTIVAL WAS NOT FEASIBLE. THEREFORE, WE PROCEEDED TO CANCEL OUR PLANS FOR THE SUMMER. ONCE AGAIN, ALL STAFF AND STUDENT CONTRACTS WERE TERMINATED AND THE DEPOSITS REFUNDED. DURING THE BRIEF LOW IN THE PANDEMIC'S INTENSITY IN JUNE, WE OFFERED SEVEN SMALL-SCALE OUTDOOR CONCERTS AT THE LOCAL WINERIES. UNFORTUNATELY, THE DELTA VARIANT HIT WITH A VENGEANCE IN JULY, SO, WE HELD NO LIVE EVENTS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR.
