ARCHIVES AND RESEARCH: MAKING THE COLLECTIONS AVAILABLE FOR IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL RESEARCHERS, PUBLICATIONS, AND INSTITUTIONS, ANSWERING QUESTIONS, LEADING TO RESOURCES. PRESENTATIONS ON KY'S LGBTQ HISTORY, INCLUDING PUBLIC LIBRARIES, MUSEUMS, SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, AND OTHER NONPROFITS, REACHING ABOUT 1000 PARTICIPANTS A YEAR. ACHIVE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE COLLECTING PRINT MATERIAL AND ORAL HISTORIES RELATED TO THE LGBTQ HISTORY IN KENTUCKY. RELATED PROGRAMMING THIS YEAR INCLUDED: QUEER MOVIES AND AFTERNOON TEA, A 3 PART FILM SCREENING IN CONJUNCTION WITH 21C LEXINGTON, HELD IN APRIL. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 25 ATTENDEES AT EACH EVENT. A PRELIMINARY LECTURE REGARDING "FROM THE ARCHIVE: AN LGBTQ HISTORY OF KENTUCKY" PRESENTED TO THE KENTUCKY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, ONLINE MAY 24TH. A GUIDED TOUR, "PRIDE OF PLACE," FOR THE CONVERENCE OF SOUTH ASSOC OF WOMEN HISTORIANS ON JUNE 10TH, ABOUT 20 HISTORIANS PARTICIPATED. PLENARY CONFERENCE TALK, "FROM THE ARCHIVE: AN LGBTQ HISTORY OF KENTUCKY" ON JUNE 11TH WITH ABOUT 100 PARTICIPANTS. ONLINE PRESENTATION OF "FROM THE ARCHIVE: AN LGBTQ HISTORY OF KENTUCKY" VIA THE BULLITT COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY ON JUNE 21ST, WITH 201 PERSONS VIEWING. LEXINGTON PRIDE FESTIVAL BOOTH, INTERACTING WITH 1000S OF PEOPLE, TALKING AND DISTRIBUTING OVER 5000 MAPS, BROCHURES, PINS, AND STICKERS. OUR MAILING LIST RECEIVED 123 NEW SIGNUPS, AND OUR DONATION JAR RECEIVED $312 IN CONTRIBUTIONS ON JUNE 21ST. LEZ LEX POPUP EXHIBITION, LUSSI BROWN COFFEE BAR AND CROSSINGS, INCLUDING MATERIAL FROM LESBIAN STORIES REPRESENTED IN FMA COLLECTIONS AS PART OF LEXINGTON'S MONTHLY LESBIAN NIGHT CELEBRATIONS. NINE NEW HOUSEHOLDS JOINED THE MAILING LIST. ABOUT 50 PEOPLE ATTENDED ON JULY 14TH. MOTHER OF US ALL DEDICATION CEREMONY, 161 N LIMESTONE AND CROSSINGS LEXINGTON. 2022 LGBTQ HISTORY MONTH FUNDRAISER, WITH SUPPORT FROM JUSTFUNDKY AND THE CITY OF LEXINGTON. OVER 100 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED AND $1847 IN DONATIONS WERE RECEIVED ON OCTOBER 16TH. PAGAN BABIES PREVIEW AT JUSTFUNDKY'S EVENT, "ROASTED," WHERE WE EXHIBITED 13 OF THE PAGAN BABIES PHOTOGRAPHS THAT ARE PART OF THE UPCOMING BOOK AND EXHIBIT. THIS WAS HELD AT THE LYRIC THEATRE, AND SEVERAL HUNDRED PEOPLE WERE IN ATTENDANCE ON NOVEMBER 3RD. THIS WAS AN EXCITING YEAR AFTER THE COVID PERIOD OF RELATIVE INACTIVITY, AND WE HOPE TO EXPAND OUR EXHIBITS AND PROGRAMMING FURTHER.
