WHAT MATTERS PRODUCTIONS ORIGINATED IN 2017 STARTING WITH OUR FIRST PROJECT, "CALVIN'S STORY" WHICH HAS SCREENED AT SEVERAL FILM FESTIVALS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND RAISED OVER $7000 FOR LA CASA NORTE. IN AUGUST, WE SHOT A PSA FOR AMERICANS UNITED AGAINST DESTRUCTIVE DRIVING. IN SEPTEMBER, WE SHOT "SHARON'S STORY" FOR SARAH'S CIRCLE'S ANNUAL FUNDRAISER. THE FILM HELPED THEM RAISE MORE THAN THEY HAVE EVER RAISED AT THE FUNDRAISER. OUR LARGEST PROJECT THIS YEAR WAS SHOT IN OCTOBER. WE SHOT FOUR FILMS FOR CHESTNUT HEALTH SYSTEMS, AIDED THEM IN LAUNCHING AN ONLINE PUSH OF THE FILMS, AND COMPLETED A WORKSHOP FOR LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN O'FALLON, MO. OUR FINAL PROJECT FOR 2017 WAS "MAKING WAVES" FOR FAMILY MATTERS WHICH HELPED THEM RAISE OVER $60,000 AT THEIR ANNUAL GALA.
