THE FOUNDATION ACTS AS A GLOBAL RESOURCE FOR INDIAN ENGINEERING COLLEGES TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, FINANCIAL RESOURCES, AND KNOWLEDGE SO THAT THE EDUCATION IMPARTED IS MORE RELEVANT AND RESPONSIVE TO THE REAL LIFE NEEDS OF STUDENTS AND SOCIETY AT LARGE.

MAKER BHAVAN: OUR LARGEST ACADEMIC MAKERSPACE AT IIT GANDHINAGAR SAW AN EXPANSION IN TERMS OF ACTIVITIES INCLUDING 2 NEW ACADEMIC COURSES, 2 PROJECT COURSES CONDUCTED BY FACILITY STAFF WITH 400 ATTENDEES IN TOTAL AND INDUSTRY WORKSHOPS ATTRACTING OVER 556 ATTENDEES.
CENTER FOR ESSENTIAL SKILLS (CES): THREE NEW COURSES ON IMPROVING ESSENTIAL COGNITIVE SKILLS WERE ADDED TO THE EXISTING COURSES ON COMMUNICATION. THE COURSES ARE OFFERED FREE OF COST AT TWO LOCATIONS,- IIT GANDHINAGAR AND IIT JAMMU. THEY WERE ALSO OFFERED TO OVER 100 AND TWO ECONOMICALLY AND FINANCIALLY DISADVANTAGED STEM AND MEDICAL STUDENTS CONDUCTED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FOUNDATION FOR EXCELLENCE.
TINKERERS LABS (TLS) - TINKERERS LABS ARE 24/7 STUDENT-MANAGED ACADEMIC MAKERSPACES SET UP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN INDIA. IN THE YEAR 2022, MBF SUPPORTED THE ESTABLISHMENT OF 2 NEW LABS FIRST AT THE BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, PILANI, RAJASTHAN AND AT NIRMA UNIVERSITY AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT. THE TOTAL COST OF SETTING UP THE FACILITIES WAS USD $108,446
