FOURTH PLAIN FORWARD SUPPORTS THE SUCCESS OF SMALL BUSINESSES, PROMOTES THE UNIQUE IDENTITY OF THE INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT, ADVOCATES FOR FOURTH PLAIN RESIDENTS' INTERESTS AND SERVES AS A RESOURCE HUB FOR THE COMMUNITY.

FOURTH PLAIN FORWARD ORGANIZED FOUR "ART IN THE PARK" SUMMER PROGRAM EVENTS AND SERVED 1455 LOCAL RESIDENTS IN THE DOWNS NEIGHBORHOOD PARK. THE WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO 23 BUSINESSES, AND CREATED 17 NEW WEBSITES: FOUR NONPROFIT, 13 BIPOC BUSINESSES. THE QUALIFIED MEDICAL INTERPRETER PROGRAM HAD FOUR SUCCESSFUL GRADUATES. BUSINESS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS WORKED WITH 34 BIPOC BUSINESS OWNERS ALONG THE CORRIDOR, PROVIDING ACCESS TO GRANTS AND TRAINING PROGRAMS. FOURTH PLAIN FORWARD ALSO SUCCESSFULLY SECURED GRANTS FOR LOCAL CBOS TOTALING $57,000. THEY ALSO PARTNERED WITH THE LOCAL LATINO COMMUNITY GROUP FOR THE FIRST IN-PERSON MULTICULTURAL FAIR IN THE DISTRICT, WITH 650 PEOPLE IN TOTAL ATTENDANCE. THE COMMUNITY SPACE AT THE OFFICE PROVIDED 1,875 ACCESS HOURS TO SIX COMMUNITY GROUPS, LOCAL LIBRARY STORY TIME SESSIONS, AND SMALL BUSINESSES FOR MEETINGS AND TRAINING SESSIONS.
