Part 3
AS A PREFERRED PARTNER OF THE US STATE DEPARTMENT, THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTED A TEAM OF PSYCHOLOGISTS, NURSES, AND DOCTORS TO VISIT THREE UKRAINIAN REFUGEE CENTERS AND HOSPITALS. THE TEAM COUNSELED CHILDREN, TEACHERS, AND PARENTS IN STRATEGIES TO RELIEVE THE EMOTIONAL IMPACTS OF GRIEF AND LOSS DUE TO WAR. TOYS WERE DEVELOPED AND DISTRIBUTED TO THE CHILDREN AND IN HOSPITALS TO HELP THEM IDENTIFY AND MANAGE THEIR EMOTIONS. LIFE-SIZE MOODSTER CHARACTERS WERE CREATED AND TRANSCRIPTS WRITTEN WHICH ENABLE THE ORGANIZATION TO PERFORM SHOWS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN WITH EMOTIONAL ISSUES IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR MENTAL HEALTH.
