EMPOWER WORK IS ON A MISSION TO BUILD HEALTHIER, MORE EQUITABLE WORKPLACES WHERE EMPLOYEES ARE VALUED, SUPPORTED, AND EMPOWERED. OUR APPROACH FUELS POSITIVE CHANGE IN THREE WAYS: 1) IMPROVED ECONOMIC AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING FOR UNDER-SERVED WORKERS VIA IMMEDIATE, CONFIDENTIAL SMS/CHAT SUPPORT, 2) IMPROVED WORKPLACE PRACTICES THROUGH TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEER PEER COUNSELORS AND COMPANIES CREATING A RIPPLE EFFECT ACROSS WORKPLACES, AND 3) SYSTEMIC WORKPLACE CHANGE AS OUR DATA AND STORYTELLING INFORM NEW APPROACHES & POLICY. 2021 WAS A YEAR OF THOUGHTFUL GROWTH. WE SUPPORTED 30,000 WORKERS. OVER 92% REPORTED IMPROVED MENTAL HEALTH. OVER 90% OF VOLUNTEERS REPORT THAT VOLUNTEERING AND TRAINING HAVE IMPROVED THEIR WORK RELATIONSHIPS.
