POETIC BUILDS A PIPELINE OUT OF THE JUVENILE JUSTICE AND CHILD PROTECTION AND PERMANENCY COURT AND INTO INTENSIVE IN-COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR VULNERABLE GIRLS, AGES 12-18, WHO HAVE A HISTORY OF CHILD MALTREATMENT, COMMERCIAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND SEX TRAFFICKING. WE ADDRESS THE SYSTEMS NOT JUST THE SYMPTOMS OF VULNERABILITY BY PUTTING AN ON-SITE SCHOOL, TRAUMA THERAPY WITH 24/7 ACCESS TO SUPPORT, CREATIVE ARTS THERAPY AND PAID INTERNSHIPS ALL UNDER ONE ROOF. IN 2020, WE SERVED 157 INDIVIDUALS, OFFERING 36 HOURS OF THERAPEUTIC AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING A WEEK.
