THE GIRLS S.T.E.A.M. INSTITUTE IS DEVELOPING AN INITIATIVE TO PARALLEL WITH THE UNITED NATIONS. THERE ARE THREE OF THE UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS TO ADOPT AS PROJECTS TO FOCUS ON AS THEMES UNTIL 2030. THE THREE GOALS GSI WILL ADOPT ARE:CLIMATE CHANGECIVIC DUTYPERSONAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTHGSI WILL EMPLOY THREE METHODS TO IMPLEMENT, PROCESS AND MEASURE ITS RESULTS DURING EACH YEAR. IT WILL USE PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PBL) AS A METHOD TO HELP GIRLS EXPERIENCE IDEATION, INNOVATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF IDEAS AS A TEAM DESIGNED TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AS ENTREPRENEURS IN THE AREAS OF CLIMATE CHANGE. IT WILL USE SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING (SEL) AS A TECHNIQUE TO CREATE TOOLS FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SUCH AS LEADERSHIP, CRITICAL THINKING, DESIGN THINKING, TEAM BUILDING, SELF-CARE, FINANCE AND BUDGET.FOR THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2020 THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED DONATED SERVICES OF $56,500 FOR PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.GSI RECEIVED SUPPORT IN 2020 FROM VIRTUAL WORLD SOCIETY, MICROSOFT CORPORATION AND WILLAMETTE UNIVERSITY MBA PROGRAM DONATING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TO FURTHER THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR GIRLS AGED 12-17 IN THE AREAS OF TECHNOLOGY AND VIRTUAL REALITY AND JOBZMALL PROVIDED DONATED SERVICES TO COMPLETE A TOTAL REWORK AND UPDATE OF THE ORGANIZATION'S LOGO AND WEBSITE.
