THE WORKFORCE FIRST PROGRAM OFFERS HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN MONEY SERVING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE WORKING TO BREAK DOWN BARRIERS TO PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT AND HOUSING. PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS HELP CLEAN PARKS AND ENRICH THE LIVES OF ANIMALS LIVING IN SHELTER.
CAMP ESPERANZA, LOCATED AT 780 S HWY 183 IN AUSTIN, TX IS A NON-CONGREGATE EMERGENCY SHELTER, RECEIVING PRIVATE DONATIONS AND FUNDING FROM THE TDHCA.
THE MOBILE HYGIENE CLINIC, WHICH BEGAN AS A COVID-19 RESPONSE FUNDED BY THE CITY OF AUSTIN, PROVIDES SHOWERS AND HYGIENE SUPPLIES AROUND THE CITY OF AUSTIN BY WAY OF A FLEET OF SHOWER TRAILERS.
