THE COLORADO TOY TRAIN FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO POVIDING AN EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE TO THE PUBLIC, ENCOMPASSING THE HISTORY AND OPERATION OF TOY AND MODEL TRAINS WHILE PROMOTING THE HOBBY OF TRAIN COLLECTION

IT IS THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION TO DOCUMENT THE EVOLUTION AND COLORFUL HISTORY OF TOY TRAIN MANUFACTURING AND MARKETING. THE FOUNDATION WILL BOTH DISPLAY AND ACTIVELY OPERATE A WIDE VARIETY OF TOY AND MODEL TRAINS IN VARIOUS GAUGES AND SCALES FOR THE ENJOYMENT AND ENLIGHENMENT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE FOUNDATION WILL ALSO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING COLLECTING AND OPERATION TOY TRAINS THROUGH PERIODIC SEMINARS AND DEMONSTRATIONS. THE FOUNDATION WILL ALSO TEACH MODEL TRAIN RAILROADING BASIC SKILLS INCLUDING DESIGN OF TRAIN LAYOUTS, CONSTRUCTION OF MODEL RAILROAD BENCHWORK, ELECTRICAL WIRING TECHNIQUES, CREATION OF WITH A SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON YOUTHFUL ENTHUSIASTS.
