ALLEGIANCE RANCH CONTINUED TO THRIVE AND CELEBRATED FOUR YEARS AS A NONPROFIT. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE EXAMPLES OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR THE YEAR 2021. SUCCESSFULLY OFFERED FIVE VETERAN HORSEMANSHIP CLINICS AND INCREASED PARTICIPATION IN VETERAN (AND FAMILY MEMBER) RIDING LESSONS (100 HOURS, INCREASE OF 50% OVER 2020). SERVED THE COMMUNITY THROUGH VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, LOGGING OVER 1,000 HOURS IN VOLUNTEER SERVICE. CONTINUED TO OFFER MONTHLY VETERAN MUSTER WITH INCREASED ATTENDANCE AND ENGAGEMENT. PARTNERED WITH NONPROFIT OPERATION EQUINE TO PROVIDE ONSITE EQUINE THERAPY OPTIONS FOR VETERANS AS WELL AS MILITARY CULTURAL COMPETENCY TRAINING FOR CIVILIANS. OUR ALLEGIANCE RANCH BOARD ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THE TRAINING. WE SUCCESSFULLY HOSTED TWO FUNDRAISERS, THE HEROES AND HORSES HOEDOWN AND OUR HAUNTED HAYRIDES AT ALLEGIANCE RANCH. WE PARTICIPATED IN THE FREDERICK MINERS DAY CELEBRATION. WE ALSO HOSTED SEVERAL GROUPS AT THE RANCH FOR SERVICE DAYS AND EVENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE BIG FISH FOUNDATION, CAMP KIND, AND RESIDENTS FROM A LOCAL ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY. TWO HORSES COMPLETED OFFSITE TRAINING/FINISHING TO PREPARE THEM FOR OUR RIDING PROGRAMS AND THE ADOPTION OF RESCUE HARLEY WAS FINALIZED. FOSTER RESCUE TWO SOCKS ALSO RETURNED TO THE RANCH AFTER BEING DIAGNOSED WITH CUSHINGS AND IS THRIVING UNDER OUR CARE.
