WE CURRENTLY CARE FOR 12 RESCUE HORSES, 2 DONKEYS, 3 GOATS, 21 CHICKENS, AND TWO TURKEYS WHILE PROVIDING VETERAN RIDING LESSONS, HORSEMANSHIP CLINICS, MONTHLY GATHERINGS FOR VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS, ACCESS TO FRESH PRODUCE FROM OUR COMMUNITY GARDEN, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONNECTION AND SUPPORT ALL AT NO COST TO OUR HERO COMMUNITY MEMBERS. WE RELY FULLY ON DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR THE ONGOING CARE AND TRAINING FOR OUR RESCUE HORSES AND TO FUND THE PROGRAMS WE OFFER. WE ARE PROUD TO HAVE SERVED AND SUPPORTED OUR HERO COMMUNITY MEMBERS DEDICATING OVER 475 HOURS IN 2023. "OUR IMPACT INCLUDED OFFERING 102 VETERAN RIDING LESSONS, 475 HOURS SERVING VETERANS, 6 COMMUNITY EVENTS, 3 SCHOOL VISITS, 4 PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS, AND 17 VETERAN GATHERINGS. "SUCCESSFULLY PARTICIPATED IN THE 2023 ROCKY MOUNTAIN HORSE EXPO AT THE NATIONAL WESTERN COMPLEX. WE SHARED OUR MISSION WITH VETERANS AND INTRODUCED OUR COMMUNITY TO POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS. "WE HAD A SUCCESSFUL SECOND SEASON WITH OUR REFLECTION GARDEN PROVIDING FRESH PRODUCE, EGGS, AND FLOWERS TO THE COMMUNITY. WE BUILT NEW RAISED GARDEN BOXES AND PLANTED THREE NEW TREES. "CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SIGNIFICANT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, LOGGING OVER 1692 HOURS IN VOLUNTEER SERVICE. "CONTINUED TO OFFER THE MONTHLY VETERAN MUSTER WITH INCREASED ATTENDANCE AND ENGAGEMENT. "CONTINUED TO SUCCESSFULLY HOST THE WEEKLY WARRIOR EQUINE GROUP IN COLLABORATION WITH OPERATION EQUINE AND SERVED AS A HOST FOR ONGOING PRIVATE THERAPY SESSIONS CONDUCTED BY PROFESSIONAL THERAPISTS. "WE ADDED A NEW RESCUE TO OUR HERD, MR. WAFFLES, A MINIATURE HORSE WHO HAD BEEN ABUSED. WE SADLY HAD TO SAY GOODBYE TO ONE OF OUR MINI HORSES WHO SUCCUMBED TO COLIC, WHICH MADE SPACE FOR MR. WAFFLES. "ENHANCED AND SUCCESSFULLY HOSTED THE ANNUAL HEROES AND HORSES HOEDOWN FUNDRAISER RESULTING IN OUR BIGGEST ATTENDANCE AND FUNDRAISING OUTCOME TO DATE. WE ALSO HOSTED SEVERAL GROUPS AT THE RANCH FOR SERVICE DAYS AND EVENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE BIG FISH FOUNDATION, THE TRAVIS MANION FOUNDATION, PROSPECT RIDGE ACADEMY, REVITAL COLORADO, AND GIVING UNIVERSITY. "SUCCESSFULLY HOSTED A FAMILY DAY OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING LOCAL VENDORS THAT WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. WE ALSO SUCCESSFULLY HOSTED OUR FIRST PUMPKIN FESTIVAL AND FUNDRAISER. "FOUNDERS DAN, GLORIA AND GABY TIMMONS WERE GUESTS ON MILE HIGH LIVING (CHANNEL 7 DENVER) WITH OUR RESCUE DONKEY GIZMO TO SHARE OUR MISSION AND TALK ABOUT OUR ANNUAL FUNDRAISER. ALLEGIANCE RANCH WAS ALSO FEATURED IN A STORY ON 9NEWSDENVER IN AUGUST. "OUR COMMUNITY RALLIED AROUND AND CELEBRATED OUR VETERANS WHO GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE AND PARTICIPATED IN WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA AS A COMMUNITY.
