ARTISTS FOR CHANGE WAS A FISCAL SPONSOR FOR THE FILM PRODUCTION OF GHOST DIVERS (2021). THE FILM HOPES TO INFORM AND INSPIRE AUDIENCES TO PROMOTE OCEAN CONSERVATION, SHARK PRESERVATION, AND EXPOSE HUMAN EXPLOITATION.
COLLABORATED WITH THE LONG BEACH UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE LONG BEACH HUMAN TRAFFICKING TASK FORCE IN A DIGITAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS EVENT. STUDENTS HAD AN ADVANCE SCREENING OF LOST GIRLS SHORT FILM, AND PARTICIPATED IN A Q&A WITH DIRECTOR, JULIA VERDIN, CAST MEMBERS OF LOST GIRLS, AND EXPERTS ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING. JULIA ALSO SPOKE TO THE USC WOMEN IN CINEMA CLUB ABOUT SOCIAL IMPACT FILMMAKING FOLLOWING A SCREENING OF ANGIE:LOST GIRLS
ARTISTS FOR CHANGE PARTNERS WITH KIDS IN THE SPOTLIGHT TO FILM FOSTER-YOUTH-WRITTEN SHORT FILM, "THE INHERITANCE" (2021). FOUNDER JULIA VERDIN ASSISTED THE YOUNG FOSTER YOUTH WRITERS ON THE SCRIPTS AND DIRECTED THE SHORTS. FOSTER YOUTH ACTED IN THE FILM AND LEARNT ABOUT THE FILMMAKING PROCESS ALONG THE WAY. ARTISTS FOR CHANGE ORGANIZED THE CAMERA AND CREW AS WELL AS POST-PRODUCTION.
