OPERATION OF A PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL AUTHORIZED BY THE LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE VISION OF ACADEMY OF MEDIA ARTS IS TO EXPOSE YOUTH TO REAL WORLD OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH PROJECT-BASED LEARNING BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT TOOLS. MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE INHERENT TALENT, POTENTIAL, AND ENTHUSIASM OF OUR YOUTH WILL BE NURTURED THROUGH THE INFUSION OF NEW MEDIA ARTS AND COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS-BASED EDUCATION THAT INCLUDES THE KEY SUBJECT AREAS OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS AND MATH, SERVING AS A VEHICLE TO GREATER SUCCESS IN LIFE.
