OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2020 INCLUDE:- GTGLL HAS CONTINUED TO SPONSOR AND ASSIST INTRODUCING THE GAME OF LACROSSE TO YOUTH IN SOUTH LOUISIANA. IN 2020, GTGLL WAS ABLE TO EXPAND ITS REACH OVER TO LAFAYETTE, LA THROUGH CLINICS AND COACHING SESSIONS;- GTGLL CONCLUDED A SUMMER PROGRAM IN WHICH OVER 100 BOYS PARTICIPATED (OVER 20 WERE FIRST TIME PLAYERS) AND CONDUCTED IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMS WHERE CHILDREN FROM NUMEROUS SCHOOLS PARTICIPATED TOGETHER ON AGE-APPROPRIATE TEAMS; - DUE TO COVID, GTGLL WAS UNABLE TO HOST A CHARITY LACROSSE TOURNAMENT AS IT HAS IN THE PAST. GTGLL HOPES TO BRING BACK THE CHARITY TOURNAMENT IN 2021 ONCE MORE COVID RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED, AND MORE CHILDREN CAN BE VACCINATED;- THE COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR GTGLL HAS CONTINUED AND GTGLL IS LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE EXCITING PROGRAMING IN THE COMING YEARS.
