CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AT CHILDREN'S HOME AND PRIMARY SCHOOL INCLUDING BEGINNING CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF NEW SECONDARY SCHOOL BUILDING, NEW PIT LATRINE, PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, AND MISCELLANEOUS CAPITAL EXPENDITURES (BEDS, MOSQUITO NETS, ETC.). THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROGRAM SERVICE IS TO IMPROVE THE LEVEL OF SERVICE OFFERED AND TO ATTRACT MORE TUITION PAYING STUDENTS TO HAPPY TIMES CHILDCARE INITIATIVE THEREBY INCREASING REVENUE AND MAKING HAPPY TIMES MORE PROFITABLE AND SELF SUFFICIENT.
MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT.
PROVISION OF FOOD, DIAPERS, AND MISCELLANEOUS MONTHLY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 250 CHILDREN AT HAPPY TIMES CHILDCARE INITIATIVE. THE CHILDREN ARE COMPRISED OF APPROXIMATELY 125 RESIDENT ORPHANS, 75 BOARDING STUDENTS, AND 25 DAY STUDENTS.
SECONDARY SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY TUITION SUPPORT FOR HAPPY TIMES CHILDCARE INITIATIVE'S RESIDENT ORPHANS. HAPPY TIMES HAS APPROXIMATELY 30 CHILDREN WHO ATTEND SECONDARY SCHOOL (HIGH SCHOOL), VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, OR UNIVERSITY. A NEW SONG INTERNATIONAL FUNDS THESE STUDENTS TUITION EXPENSES.
