THE MISSION OF THE SOUTHWESTERN IDAHO ELECTRICAL JATC IS TO EDUCATE THE MEMBERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS AND THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION; ENSURING AND PROVIDING THE ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WITH THE MOST HIGHLY TRAINED AND HIGHLY SKILLED WORKFORCE POSSIBLE.

TO PROVIDE AN APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM FOR ELECTRICANS THAT LEADS TO JOURNEYMEN STATUS. TO PROVIDE CONTINUING TRAINING TO JOURNEYMEN ELECTRICIANS ON ELECTRICAL CODE CHANGES AND OTHER CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES.
