THE ALLIANCE FOR PROTON THERAPY ACCESS'S MISSION IS TO ATTAIN A FAST, FAIR, AND TRANSPARENT INSURANCE REVIEW PROCESS FOR CANCER PATIENTS IN NEED OF PROTON THERAPY. WE SUPPORT PATIENTS, FAMILIES, CAREGIVERS TO SPEAK OUT AND INFLUENCE DECISION-MAKERS THROUGH GRASSROOTS ACTIONS, EARNED MEDIA AND SOCIAL MEDIA.

CONTINUED HIGHLIGHTING AN ADVOCACY REPORT CREATED IN 2018 THAT HIGHLIGHTS THE COST TO PATIENTS OF THE BROKEN INSURANCE REVIEW AND APPROVAL PROCESS AND HIGHLIGHTING PATIENT'S STORIES. WORKED WITH PATIENT ADVOCATES AND CAREGIVERS TO GENERATE OP-EDS AND NEWS STORIES ABOUT HOW PROTON THERAPY BENEFITED THEM AND THE STRUGGLES THEY AND OTHERS HAVE ACCESSING THE CANCER TREATMENT.
