SEE SCHEDULE OEMC HEALTH FOUNDATION, A WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF EMC HEALTH INC., WAS CREATED TO CONTINUE THE MINISTRY AND SUPPORT OF INDIVIDUALS IN THE AREA PREVIOUSLY SERVICED BY EMANUEL MEDICAL CENTER. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO BROADEN ITS IMPACT WITHIN THE 19 DESIGNATED ZIP CODES WITH GRANT FUNDING FOR HEALTH-RELATED PROGRAMS THAT WILL BENEFIT THE PEOPLE LIVING AND WORKING IN OUR COMMUNITIES.THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH A GRANTMAKING PROGRAM THAT:1. PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO ENSURE THE COMMUNITY HAS GREATER ACCESS TO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES THROUGH A DESIGNATED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM2. ENSURES FAMILIES FACING FOOD INSECURITY HAVE ACCESS TO PROGRAMS TO PREVENT OR COMBAT THIS CRISIS;3. FUNDS PROGRAMS TO ASSIST FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE MEDICATIONS
