VIRTUAL MATHEMATICS TUTORING PROGRAM - THE YEAR 2021 WAS DEDICATED TO ESTABLISHING THIS PROGRAM BOTH IN FUNDING THROUGH GRANTS AWARDED BY AMERICORPS RSVP AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CORE TEAM. THE FOCUS OF THIS PROGRAM IS CONNECTING VOLUNTEERS AGE 55+ WITH U.S. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN NEED OF MATH TUTORING. OUR PROGRAM OFFERS TRAINING AND ONGOING SUPPORT, AND REQUIRES A COMMITMENT OF JUST 3-5 HOURS A WEEK. TUTORING IS DONE COMPLETELY ONLINE.
