A SEMI-CONTEMPLATIVE COMMUNITY OF NUNS LIVING IN THE SPIRIT OF ST ELIAS, ACCORDING TO THE CARMELITE RULE IN CINCINNATI. OUR MISSION IS TO LIVE A LIFE OF PRAYER AND SACRIFICE FOR THE NEEDS OF THE CHURCH AND THE WORLD. WORKING FOR THE SPIRITUAL AND MORAL FORMATION OF CHILDREN, FAMILIES AND THE POOR, AS WELL AS TEACHING.

WE HAD PURCHASED 2 BUILDINGS IN 2016 FOR A CONVENT THAT NEEDED COMPLETE RENOVATION AS THEY WERE GUTTED. WE WERE UNABLE TO START RENOVATIONS ON SECOND BUILDING IN 2021. WE RECEIVED A DONATION OF 25 ACRES OF LAND IN JANUARY 2021. ALL WE ALSO SEW FOR UPKEEP OF THE LINENS IN THE CHURCH, TEACH CATECHISM AT TWO PARISHES IN CINCINNATI, AND HAVE GROUPS FOR GIRLS TO LEARN TRADES AND TO FURTHER THEIR SPIRITUAL AND MORAL DEVELOPMENT. WE ARE FORMING A RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY HERE LIVING ACCORDING TO THE CARMELITE RULE OF ST. ALBERT OF JERUSALEM
