ART CLASSES ARE TOUGHT BY VOLUNTEERS(SOME PAID) INSTRUCTORS FOR CHILDRENAND ADULTS-MANY SUFFERS TRAUMAS. CLASSES ARE HELD SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK. ESTIMATED 275 PEOPLE PARTIPATED COMMUNITY DISCUSSIONS ON ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES, DEVELOPMENT,MEDIA ANDRACE, GENDER EQUILITIES AND NATIONAL HISTORY. EVENTS INCLUDE PANEL DISCUSSIONS AND PRESENTATIONS. ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCES FOR LOW INCOME COMMUNITY. THIS INCLUDES THEATRICAL PERFORMANCES, LIVE MUSIC, POETRY AND PUPPETRY. THEY ARE LARGELY PRODUCED BY LOCAL ARTISTS.
